Some of you are already aware of the fact that I will be travelling back to Sudan in a few weeks, to work for another 4-and-something months. This, in combination with a sudden explosive increase in the number of bloggers in my immediate circle of friends, has inspired me to start this blog.
The posts here may or may not be as regular as the emails I sent during my previous posting, but I certainly hope they will be received with the same enthusiasm and positive response. It will be possible to post comments in lieu of emails, and I hope you will do so. The initial posts will be re-issues of my initial letters, so feel free to skip them, read them for the first time, or re-read them, should the fancy strike you.
For now, I'll be enjoying my summer in Denmark for the next few weeks, with running water that doesn't try to kill me at every corner, preparing to return to Juba on August 9th. There may be posts before then, there may not. I'll try and send out an email whenever I post a new "letter from Juba", but there may be other items of interest posted with no notice so, please, put me on your favorites list and drop by once in a while.
